Soon after I received some periodic errors related to the AHCI controller and saw in the device manager that some devices didn't seem to be properly installed. WebThis add-in board was an easy install into my Z97 Extreme-6. Once plugged in, some TPM info showed in my BIOS settings but running tpm.msc still showed that the TPM was not activated. Found an updated BIOS on the ASRock forums and after installing that, TPM menu settings opened up in BIOS and tpm.msc reported that the TPM was working.
