It's like night and day. The clutch pedal is a lot stiffer (which I love, some may not), and the engagement is a lot more precise. WebJul 20, 2013 · Do not replace your dual mass flywheel. The harmonic dampening it provides is key....and a potential recipe for a very expensive disaster if you remove it. WebDec 24, 2001 · Your car will feel much much more responsive with the light weight flywheel too. When you give the car a little gas, it really goes. I noticed a huge increase in acceleration after I had mine installed. Not only does the car accelerate much faster, it also slows down much faster, especially when you downshift, which I love.
