WebDec 28, 2024 · I did what you wrote and it appears to have made some changes, although I can't quite get my head around it. fdisk still shows that the partition does not start on the physical sector boundary but the check on gparted doesn't seem to have reported any issues, only an optimisation to some extent tree and a modification to the filesystem.
